Once, leaving the metro at the Chistye Prudy station, looking up from the phone, I noticed how beautifully the lobby is filled with light, how the graphic lines of the building delicately complement the porthole windows, bringing a recognizable accent. I made a couple of sighting shots on my phone with the idea of going back and taking long exposure portraits. Conceived - done! We found a dress to match the color of the walls, chose sunny weather, the setting sun beating along the line of windows and forward.
In 1935, it was erected by the Scottish-born architect Nicholas Colley, inspired by ancient Roman architecture - the tomb of the baker Eurystacus.
