This image was taken during the afternoon mass ascension at the New Jersey Festival of Ballooning, which is held every summer in the town of Readington. The weather was picture perfect for balloon rides, and those rides were in high demand that Saturday. This is a shot of one of the 100+ large balloons that participated, carrying happy passengers for the late afternoon balloon ride. I look forward to being a rider myself next year.
