Beautiful photograph! I could not get enough photos of the Tetons. I loved Jackson Lake too! I need to review all my photos of that trip. We made a road trip to see the Sawtooths, Tetons and Bear Tooths! AMAZING!!!!!

Location
I took this photo at Jackson Lake, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming.Time
8/2/09, 7:52:00 AMLighting
I didn't have much control over the lighting, except to arrive on location early morning. It was a clear sunny day with very few clouds; a perfect day. Toward the end of the morning, the wind started to pick up which made it difficult to obtain good mountain reflections.Equipment
I used Canon Canon EOS 20D, Canon 18.0-55.0 mm. @ 18.0 mm., Manfrotto tripod.Inspiration
The Grand Teton Range reflection on Jackson Lake is a popular photo. I always wanted to go there to take that shot to create my own personal interpretation of it.Editing
Shot RAW. I adjusted the light/contrast, sharpened. In my camera bag
I use only Canon equipment. Now I use EOS70D, EOS80D. 3 zoom lenses. 100-400mm. 28-135 mm. 18-55mm. Manfrotto tripod. Manfrotto Backpack 50. B+H ND Filter 8x.Feedback
My advice would be to be patient. The light changes very fast. When you have so many mountains it’s just luck to have all of them in the sun. One more thing. Because I stayed by the lake so long, there were a ton of mosquitoes. It’s important to have plenty of sunscreen and bug spray.
