Early in the morning I set off for the Dyrholaey peninsula near the southern Icelandic town of Vík í Mýrdal to photograph the well-known rock arch. This was unfortunately not to think, strong easterly wind made the stay in the edge of the cliff impossible - you could hardly stand, let alone set up a tripod. On the way back to the parking lot, I took a short rest in the lee of the lighthouse, noting that the wind cover through the building made a few shots of the lighthouse possible
