Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Denmark while taking a walk with a friend. As a new photographer I always search for spotes which could be good for photos and with the friend we always search for places we have never been at. This path came across and it was perfect.

Time

As you can see, sunset. In Denmark, it is usually cloudy and you can not see the sun very often. So I think it was pretty lucky to be at the spot at that moment.

Lighting

I like how I was able to catch the sun right at the end of the bushes so it gave an impression of a longer sun rays. All in all, just natural lightning.

Equipment

I used Canon EOS 2000D with 55mm zoom lens. Nice beginners camera, no tripod, no flash.

Inspiration

I was just studying about lines and their importance in photography so I noticed how several of them are leading in the same direction and thought that could technicaly be a good photo. But I was immediately drawn by the mistery of untouched path and walking towards the beauty of the sunset and the idea just set in place in second.

Editing

I just did some sharpening and color adjustement.

In my camera bag

I have just my little Canon so far. :) As I will progress, I will probably buy some more equipement - tripod first of all. But for now, I think I have a lot to learn and enough to learn just with basics.

Feedback

I would not give advice but share how amazing it was how I saw the photo in that spot in the second and everything fitted. I love that feeling when you just know it`s gonna be good. If not to others, to you. :)
