Let Me Haunt Your Dreams

A self-portrait I created around Halloween last year. I am working to explore the darker side of my art and artistic interests and during October created a few "darker" pieces, which I greatly enjoyed and have inspired me since to keep exploring that part of my psyche. I purchased this mask 5 years ago now at a store on clearance and knew one day it would have a place in my art.

This image is comprised of numerous original photographs (taken by me) which are then combined in post-production, along with digital painting to create the dirty monster hands. I've been exploring digital painting more in my art to be able to bridge the gap of reality and fantasy, as I only use elements that are original and mine, so this has allowed me to start exploring more elements that aren't readily available to me.
