Small fish in the lake reed, swimming along that invisible border between curiosity and safety.
In Summer when I go snorkeling every day, these will follow me for some distance before returning. As they grow, they keep following me, until the end of Summer when they are already big... and still curious.
They would allow me to shoot their portraits underwater, which is a rare treat and privilege. Also a compliment of sorts...
