Behind The Lens

Location

Moving around was limited during pandemic restrit restrictions, I just walked into a nearby forest where I have never been before. I found there this magical place of old oaks.

Time

It was rainy autumn day on October 30th 2020 at 13:46

Lighting

I like a view at the sky from underneath when taking pictures in forest. There was not much natural light that day, but enough for a tree trunk.

Equipment

I used Canon EOS 600D and 8 mm fish eye Samyang.

Inspiration

I take pictures of trees, this is what I specialize in. Trees are alive beings and that is how I try to catch them.

Editing

I am photographing at RAW format and editing basic adjustment in photoshop. No big changes.

In my camera bag

Most of my work is outdoors, so I only take necessary staff. I know what I want to do, so prepare my backpack accordingly. It is either Canon 600D or Canon 77D with a fish eye, or with a Tokina 12-24 mm. For longer trails I use Sigma 18-300 mm.
