Behind The Lens

Location

This is a little village in Foroglio, Bavona Valley.

Time

It was taken in the afternoon.

Lighting

The sunlight only hit the mountain behind the village. This gave the photo a sombre aura.

Equipment

It was taken with a nikon D90, free hand, and a 18-200 lens.

Inspiration

The moment was the inspiration. I got there and saw this view. So I shot it, without studying the framing, the light or anything else.

Editing

I desaturated the whole image while keeping the emphasis on the incredible colour of the water.

In my camera bag

At the moment I always have my camera (nikon z6 II) and the tripod.

Feedback

There is no real advice to be given. The important thing is to choose what to give importance to, to study the various plans and above all to listen to your gut, not just your head.
