Location

I took it in my room.

Time

Well the time of day doesn’t affect it because I was inside and used lighting.

Lighting

I tried to have the light straight on because I didn’t want shadows.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D750, my 24-85 mm lens, a tripod, backdrop, and some eternal lighting.

Inspiration

I created this image for the Nikon photo contest and the theme was “connect.” I wanted to show how modern day communication relies heavily on technology. It’s a modern spin on the Sistine Chapel painting of Adam and God’s hands.

Editing

Yes. I used my own hands and phone for the photo so a cut them out and put them in the same photo, turned it to monochrome, added the glitching, and put a little bit of grain.

My Nikon D750 and my 24-85 mm lens.

Feedback

Honestly just keep coming up with ideas and then work to put it in a visual. Look at art or anything that inspires you and then make it your own. Especially with COVID, try playing around with self portraits so you can keep creating.
