Behind The Lens

Location

Walking in the mountains, I found myself facing a cliff. It was very windy and some hawks were inspecting the area, but I decided to fly the drone anyway. I risked not seeing it again, but luckily it went well.

Time

I remember it was around 4 p.m. of the first days of November. Unfortunately I couldn't wait for the golden hour. Such a pity.

Lighting

Natural light is the most difficult to manage, but also the most beautiful. Unfortunately, I had no control over the light at the time.

Equipment

DJI Mavic Mini

Inspiration

It inspired me to have found myself in front of a wonderful landscape. I couldn't let it escape.

Editing

Not much actually. I played around with curves, dodge and burn and saturation a bit. I couldn't do much as the Mavic Mini only shoots 12MP jpgs.

In my camera bag

I recently decided to keep only a camera (Sony a7RIII) and one lens (35mm f / 1.4) as advised by a very good photographer I know named Francesco Pergolesi.

Feedback

Just do it. Simple and effective.
