Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken while shooting commercial project. While models were changing i took a moment to grab my assistant and pose for me

Time

It was taken around 11 am in Honolulu,Hi

Lighting

Only natural light here.

Equipment

Canon R5, handheld with Sigma Art 50mm

Inspiration

I saw this white globes laying around that were reflecting light perfectly. I immediately thought those look so abstract i have to use them for a portrait.

Editing

I treat Photoshop the way it was intended- as digital darkroom - so image processing is always part of my plan. Tweaking colors, removing dead leaves etc.

Feedback

Whenever possible try to think differently. When someone ask me to have full body portrait standing - i immediately want to do opposite - let’s have one with you in air, no face!
