Second of 3 in the series.
Malia's ninth flower fell off last night. I heard a slight sound as I was drifting away to sleep and though it was dark, knew what had happened. The tenth is still strong and there's a new bud forming. The growing bud will mature, open, and that tenth flower will fall too even though it still looks fresh and beautiful. Here the flower seems to fly away as if an angel in heaven due to the iridescent white background.
