Location
The photo was taken in the Prague Botanical Garden.Time
The photo was taken on August 15, 2020, at 2:48 p.m.Lighting
The lighting conditions were very good and the blossom of the rose was beautifully enlightened by the sun. No additional lights, of course.Equipment
A Sony Alpha 7 MIII with Minolta 200/2.8 was used when taking the photo. No other equipment was involved.Inspiration
I visited the Botanical Garden with the intent to photograph some flowers therein. It was a beautiful summer day and I enjoyed very much taking photos of flowers in the garden.Editing
There was, of course, some post-processing applied to to the image as I used raw files. After the development of the raw image, just a simple framing was applied, and the contrast and sharpness were corrected. In my camera bag
My bag is not very big, which means I just carry the lenses that could be the most useful ones. When taking photos of flowers, a telelens may be needed from time to time. More particular, the old and superb Minolta 200/2.8 is almost always therein. The Sony macro 90/2.8, and Sony 55/1.8 are also therein, and with Sony 24 - 70/2.8 form my basic stuff. The camera I used was the Sony Alpha A7 MIII.Feedback
My advice would be very simple: bring good lenses and, above all, remember to be in a good mood.
