Before the afterglow light show at Porth Nanven seen in yesterday's post, we (the photographers on the beach) were treated to some warm golden tones as the sun began to set.
I used one of the beach's characteristic rocks, rounded by the ages of wave action, to anchor the foreground. With a slow shutter speed dialled in, I waited for a wave to wash around it.
I composed with the foreground rock, "The Brisons" islet and the angler on the horizon to form a triangle to lead the eye around the image.
Canon 6D MkII | 24-105mm lens at 35mm | ƒ-14 | 1.3 sec | ISO 100 | Tripod | No filters | Taken 14-07-2020 at Porth Nanven
