Location
This photo was taken in my bedroom using a chair, tripod and self timer on my camera.Time
This was shot in the mid-afternoon.Lighting
I used window light that was directly to the right of me.Equipment
I used my Canon 70D and Sigma Art 35mm lens with a tripod.Inspiration
I was looking for a way to channel how my anxiety and depression was making me feel. It felt like I was floating alone, in an empty space. So that is what I shot for in this image.Editing
Yes, I absolutely did. This is actually a composite of 3 different photos. One for my hair, one for my arms and the other my legs. It was extremely hard to hold a position so I knew going into it, I would need to composite. I then removed any background objects that were distracting. In my camera bag
As of current I carry my Canon R, Sigma Art 35mm, EOS-R adapter, an 24-105mm R lens, 13mm and 18mm extension tubes, extra memory cards as well as fun gadgets for creative photography like a copper pipe and fractals filters.Feedback
Be patient. It takes a lot of time and skill to accomplish something like this, but practice makes perfect!
