This photo was taken in the garden of my house in Tuscany, Italy.Time
For days I left bread crumbs near the tree to attract the bird. One morning I to photograph him: I looked at him and he looked at me!Lighting
the idea was to maintain a beige hue: I wanted a soft dominant color that would make the bird's colors stand out.Equipment
I shot the photo by my Nikon z6 and the Nikkor 70-300. This photo is taken freehand.Inspiration
I wanted to be able to photograph a bird differently: I wanted the bird to have a different expression, a different pose.Editing
Not particularly, I adjusted the hue and contrast a little. I do not like modify the photos a lot, except those that in the original shot do not convey the emotions I am looking for.In my camera bag
Normally I only carry one lens with me because I love to travel light. Before each photo session I choose which lens I will use. My equipment is very simple: Nikon z6 Nikkor 24-70 Nikkor 70-200 Artisans Macro 60Feedback
photographing birds, especially small ones, is very difficult. My advice is to make an inspection to understand where the bird is usually found. Then you have to be patient and wait. With small birds you can't photograph from too far, so you have to blend in, hide near the place chosen for the shot.
