Location
This photo was taken in an alleyway in Oceanside. It’s not too far from the beach and it’s very close to my home.Time
This photo was taken about a half hour before golden hour. I was walking through the streets of Oceanside carrying a lighter and newspapers in search for a puddle.Lighting
There’s isn’t a better time than close to or right on golden hour. the lights are softer so you don’t capture the harsh lights from the sun during mid day.Equipment
This was an idea of mine so i grabbed one of my friends to come along for the ride, i set up the angles and camera, and they snapped it for me. I used a Canon Mark IV, and a Prime 50mm Lens!Inspiration
I love fire, and i love photography, and I was inspired by other photographers I’ve seen online.Editing
I used lightroom to adjust the colors and the lighting inside the photo, i always shoot in RAW.In my camera bag
I usually carry some kit lenses for shooting around, but when i’m doing portraits or landscapes i use a 50 mm 1.4 or a 30-70mm 2.8!Feedback
My advice for new or experienced photographers would to be; explore! Either explore the internet or explore your home town, you never know what’s on the other side.
