Location
This was taken at Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. Being from the south of India this was my first winter in Canada. The Niagara Falls has something to offer at each season and winter has a special beauty.Time
This was taken around 9 am . This was the first thing that I saw and I loved the ice formations and how it gave a different kind of beauty to the falls.Lighting
This was taken at natural lighting around 9 am.Equipment
This was shot on a Nikon D850 with the 24-70mm/f2.8 Nikkor lens. I used my Manfrotto to stabilize the camera.Inspiration
Experiencing winter can be very tough for someone not used to living in a cold place and can get quite depressing. I wanted to go out with my camera and not succumb to this. There is a beauty to winter that I wanted to share with people inspiring them to go and enjoy it for themselves.Editing
Processing was done using camera Raw and Photoshop. I first corrected the White Balance, then did a levels adjustment, then sharpened the image. In my camera bag
I have my Nikon D850 with my 14-24mm/f 2.8 nikkor lens and the 24-70mm/f2.8 Nikkor lens. Additionally I have a Nisi Polarizing filter which I use for my Landscape images.Feedback
I am still learning something new every day with my camera. My only advise is to keep practicing and creating new content everyday.
