Behind The Lens

Location

I shot this image in Bandipura, Karnataka state in India.

Time

It was in the golden hours, around 5:00pm. It was in the month of Feb-March, spring had started and the forest was getting ready Summer.

Lighting

It was a Photo Tour with my students, while I was explaining about different concepts and animal behaviour we saw this beautiful lady behind the bushes. We were quite confused when she decided to walk towards us on the road. Later, we realised that she was pregnant and did not wanted to take risk walking in the bushes. Lucky us, we got to follow her (we had maintained a distance of about 50 meters) for about 20mins.

Equipment

This was shot using Canon and Tamron 150-600mm, Handled

Inspiration

The light, the majesty of the Cat and the love for the animal.

Editing

Yes, I have worked on base corrections like Cropping, Contrast, WB, Saturation, Sharpness corrections.

In my camera bag

I used to use Canon, now I have shifted to Sony
