"Sona"- meaning happy in Scottish Gaelic.
One of the locations Jerry Patterson and I will take our attendees on our Autumn workshop this year. The Glen Etive road is one of the most photogenic in Scotland, with countless photo opportunities. Only 12 miles long but takes a good hour to travel each way as it's single track and dead end road. The beauty of this area is just about every location is virtually at the side of a carpark with endless composition possibilities. Such a magical place like you've stepped right into a Lord of the rings movie set.

The Autumnal months provide very mixed weather patterns here on the Scottish west coast yielding incredible quality light rays with what I call "special sparkly light". If you like miles of waterfalls, being surrounded by mountains, feeling of being lost in time, old forests, epic skies and stunning lochs then this place will be right up your alley.
