This image was taken at Mozart's coffee shop in Austin Texas

Time

We arrived very early around 7:30 am to start our session and to make sure to not disturb regular guest

Lighting

The lighting on this day was amazing, there was a thick fog which made for some nice soft overcast lighting

Equipment

This image was captured using the Nikon D850 with Sigma Art 24mm Lens

Inspiration

Myself and the model Jackie Elle love the coffee and the love this place puts in to each cup so we wanted to capture that while we were there for a branding session.

Editing

edited using mastin labs presets to mimic more film colors

In my camera bag

With any session I always tug along my Nikon D850 with sigma art 24mm lens and my Nikon 24-70mm len. I am also a huge fan of the A1 profoto flashes and am sure to tote those along to use when needed!

Feedback

Lighting and angles are key! For lighting I check the weather and an app called sun seeker when prepping for my sessions to figure out the optimal day and time to photograph.
