Classical elements typically refer to the concepts of earth, water, air, fire, and (later) aether, which were proposed to explain the nature and complexity of all matter in terms of simpler substances. A tree that spends part of it's life in the salt water of the Sarangani Bay. I shot this on the biggest island of The Philippines, Mindanao, in the rural Barangay of Glan.
