Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken at memorial park in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Time

It was dusk... I'm not sure.. I had just moved up here and wanted to explore and found this park that you can fish at and we walked around it and it was just breathtaking... so I snapped a million pictures!

Lighting

So I watched it go from a pink to an orange and blue.. the sky looked like a watercolor painting.. the only thing I did was make it a tad more saturated and toned down the brightness ...

Equipment

Just my smartphone.. and my eyes...

Inspiration

It was such a breathtaking sunset... and when we got right there it was to good to pass up... and the thing is I wish I had a better camera because you can't even see the other mountains... but it was a happy day, it was a good omen and it was beautifully peaceful...

Editing

Like I said I just turned the saturation a tad and toned down the brightness.. I was just playing with the adjustments though I'm not trained or anything... just what i liked..

In my camera bag

I wish I could say more but just my smartphone... I wish I had equipment I can only imagine the shots I would get if I had an actual camera!!

Feedback

Sunsets and sunrises change minute by minute just wait and be patient and enjoy the magnificent view!!
