More like the Wasatch Wall than a single mountain, Timp parallels I-15 to the west, and stands sentinel over Sundance resort and the Wasatch National Forest to the east. At 11,749 feet in height, Mount Timpanogos is the second-highest mountain along the Wasatch Mountain range. Hiking to the summit is a good, long, and beautiful excursion, and you are rewarded with wildflower fields, aspen groves, snow and herds of mountain goats. The view from the top is endless. Timp is a symbol of Utah county... what does his iconic mountain mean to you?
