Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was taken at the Rodney Bay Marina in St Lucia. Taken from the balcony of our room at Harmony Suites.

Time

The time was about 8 am.

Lighting

Early morning is the best time for lighting and calmness of the water.

Equipment

Canon 80D was used with a tripod and a 30 to 50 mm lens

Inspiration

What inspired the picture was the reflectivity of the building and the water.

Editing

the only processing was for the color of the building

In my camera bag

the only equipment i have in my bag is 30 to 50 mm, and 75 to 300mm lens. I do carry some filters but don't use them much if at all.

Feedback

early in the morning gets you the best lighting and stillness of the water for greater reflectivity.
