During a recent trip to Alaska, I took this on an outing with a professional photographer in Anchorage. We drove up and down Turnagain Arm, photographing wildlife and waterfalls like the Falls Creek waterfall here. He worked with me on composing my shots more so than on how to get a silky smooth, flowing look to the water, which I already knew how to do. I can't think of a time when this waterfall would look more amazing - the white appearance of the water contrasts so beautifully with the yellow, orange, and green of the foliage.
