Location
This photo was captured in Ottawa, Canada.Time
Captured this photograph during sunset as I was walking along the trail saw this glorious sun setting in the distance and immediately took my camera and started taking photographs and came across this tree and tried few shots and that is the final result.Lighting
It was relatively low light situation but using focus metering managed to keep the focus on sun and capture this photograph without raising ISO too high.Equipment
It was a hand held shot.Inspiration
Inspiration came with the scene, as the light from the sunset was engulfing the sky and walked past this tree where it was filtering through I thought to myself if I could capture what I was seeing and that’s what this photograph was about.Editing
Yes I did raised the shadows to highlight the tree I used as foreground and tone down the highlights a little to balance the image. Adjusted the colours a little to bring the attention to the setting sun.In my camera bag
I carry Canon 80D with kit lens and 50mm 1.8 and 70-200f4 but hoping to switch to Canon EOS R soon with RF lenses.Feedback
Only advice is go out there and shoot I try to whenever I’m out and try to carry my camera almost everywhere I go you never know what might peak your interest and capture something you could be proud of.
