Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken inside the entrance to a mine in the Isle of Man

Time

Afternoon during a rainstorm

Lighting

Crazy tricky light especially as it was raining - used flash

Equipment

Canon 6D, flash

Inspiration

I have wanted to find a group of men to photograph in black and white for a while and this was a perfect opportunity

Editing

Yes - fixed levels and curves and added vignette

In my camera bag

I hate carrying anything besides my camera so would usually choose a lens and put a spare battery in my pocket along with maybe another small lens that can fit.

Feedback

Patience and understanding flash
