Behind The Lens

Location

It was taken at Raipur, outskirts of Kolkata, at a resort beside river Ganges.

Time

It was Friday February 12 2016. She and I went out of city to spend the weekend. Normally she is very lively person, but that day was in pensive mood, reasons known to her only and when I tried to freeze the moment, she gave this wonderful look. The shot I took at 1:40 pm in the afternoon.

I took this shot with Nikon D7000 with 55-300mm lens without the help of any tripod and flash.

Inspiration

Truthfully speaking, she is a beauty, and I always wanted to freeze her various moment.

Editing

Yes I did a little post production. Originally it was shot in color, later I thought the monochrome would be appropriate with her expression.

In my camera bag

I have upgraded my equipment from Nikon D7000. These days I carry Canon EOS 5DS R, with Tamron SP 150-600mm, a CZ 85mm, Canon 50mm, Tamron 24-70 f/2.8. And I also carry Sony RX10 M3 compact camera with 150-600 lense.
