Behind The Lens

Location

Taken on a trip down to Eastbourne, south coast UK.

Time

I was down there for work, so nothing better to have the chance to relax on the beach at the end of the day.

Lighting

British summer evenings have a lovely light, catching the gold tips of the pier.

Equipment

I think this was shot on my old a canon 70D? With a wide angle lens, and tripod to capture movement in the water.

Inspiration

It’s a lovely pier, but the water was was just at that turning point, enough to capture drag back.

Editing

Basic Lightroom.

In my camera bag

Now, I usually have Canon 5D Mk IV, Canon 50m 1.2L, Canon 16-35 f4L. sometimes 70-200 f4L and sometimes tripod.

Feedback

Look for nice lighting on the subject, clouds add texture in the sky. Watch how the water is moving and be ready for the moment.
