Location

I took this in my yard at home in Louisiana. I absolutely love taking photos but macros are my favorite. I was a little close for comfort to get this shot but it was worth it.

Time

I was just walking around my property one afternoon and saw this little guy sitting on a bush. So I decided to try to get a shot of him.

Lighting

This was taken outside with no special lighting. All natural

Equipment

This shot was actually taken with my IPhone. I had to be really close to get this shot. The beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It doesn’t always matter what type of equipment you have.

Inspiration

I hadn’t taken one of a wasp before and wanted to see if I could get close enough without getting stung that is.

Editing

Believe it or not I used Aviary to process this photo. Just enough to bring out the colors

In my camera bag

I have a Nikon coolpix 520 that I use but don’t always have it with me like when I’m just walking around my yard like I was to get this shot.
