Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken inside one of the New York City subway train.

Time

It was taken during the week on a late afternoon.

Lighting

Just available light, no flash.

Equipment

Leica Digilux 3

Inspiration

I was riding the same train and this guy was sitting in front of me, I had my camera in my bag. He looked exhausted from some game he had probably just played and I took his picture twice and put the camera back in my bag.

Editing

Lightroom post-processing, the photo was way underexposed when I downloaded it to my computer. No cropping.

In my camera bag

Right now I have a Sony A7S with a 28-70 zoom lens.

Feedback

My only advice is: always have your camera with you and never pass on a situation that seems interesting just because you don't want to draw attention on yourself. The best street photography pictures are usually the ones you didn't have the guts to take.
