Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on the celebration of my grandfather's 90 years birthday!

Time

It was mid afternoon when the photo was taken.

Lighting

The sky was cloudy but there was a good consistent light.

Equipment

I use a Canon 70D with a Tamron 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 lens.

Inspiration

I know that one day my grand parents will leave us and we will only have memories and pictures to remember them, I'm glad I capture this one!

Editing

I did some cropping and blurred the background a little bit just to remove some noise. Also turned it B&W because I think it works very well on pulling up emotions.

In my camera bag

use a Canon 70D and there are 3 lenses that accompany me every were, a Canon 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6, a Tamron 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 and a Yongnuo 50mm f/1.8. For this project I left the tripod home but when needed I also take it with me, especially if filters are involved!

Feedback

The best advice that I can give for this kind of photography is that, you must be patient but also stay sharp because it can happens in a few seconds. Take your camera every were because you will never know what can suddenly show up. Good luck!
