Stithians Lake - another Cornish reservoir looking very empty following our dry summer and autumn.

This shot was taken at around 10 minutes before sunrise and 10 minutes after being bitten by an unruly dog! - Who'd have thought landscape photography could be so dangerous!

The rising sun to the right of the frame illuminated the clouds in pink and yellow tones - which were in turn reflected by the pools left behind from diminishing water level.

Remnants of trees usually flooded by the reservoir can be seen in shot. Elsewhere I found a lost footbridge, walls and gate posts also claimed by the reservoir.
