Location

Photo was taken on Toronto island, Canada during winter time

Time

around 4pm

Lighting

end of the day, before the sunset

Equipment

canon 5d mark iii, B+W nd filter, Vello remote control small manfrotto tripod

Inspiration

I like images of piers and seascape so I wanted to capture one from underneath, thanks to harsh winter I was able to get under the pier walking on ice

Editing

Yes, first I played around in lightroom doing some basic adjustments than in photoshop, however the image colors are not exactly what I've createt due to saving image as ProPhoto RGB color space and working on file as sRGB in photoshop, color issues I did not know about at the beginning

In my camera bag

Ogio Ty Evans bag, canon 5 mark iii, polarizer filter and nd filter from B+W 2 spear batteries, 3 spear memory cards, Manforotto tripod and some cleaning gear

Feedback

Visit the same place more than once, try different time of a day or season as many things can change and look a bit different than before, just do your thing, if you like your picture than you succeeded, play around with the image during post processing
