Completely poisonous and menacing the lionfish spread out their poisonous spines in display to ward off predators-which they really don't have any except mankind. They are capable of eating up to 20 fish per day and are swarming the eastern seaboard over the last several years, eating everything in sight. It is such a shame as they are quite beautiful.
