The roof of the Oslo Opera building (Operahuset) angles to ground level, creating a large plaza that invites pedestrians to walk up and enjoy the panoramic views of Oslo. In my first impression, however, the design was inspired by an iceberg, especially because of the white marble and granite used for the surface of plaza.
