There are some scenes that speak volumes in whispers even before you have lifted the camera to your eye. The serenity of the landscape left me breathless. There before me, sitting quite still in her canoe, was a lotus blossom gatherer. She seemingly floated on what appeared to be a mirror of Inle Lake. The woman steadied her canoe with a paddle touching the shallow bottom. A lotus blossom adorned the bow of her boat, that is in the reflection. This felt like a zen moment suspended in time.
