Location

Derby, Western Australia

Time

Evening around 6-7 pm

Lighting

I used a low iso 100 and a wide aperture and a long exposure to capture the lightning in the background

Equipment

camera on a tripod no flash

Inspiration

The lightning over the marsh of Derby always puts on a spectacular show as the sun sets and and the sky's light up

Editing

Post processing was used to draw out the foreground a touch of saturation drop a bit of hightlights

In my camera bag

I carry in my equipment bag a flash, macro lens, wide lens, nifty 50 lens, filters, remote cable release for long exposures, cleaning equipment, etc

Feedback

Always use a tripod, remote cable shutter release and cleaning gear in case of rain appearing, dust also can blow with winds as this is a tropical storm.
