Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on Deerfield Beach in Fl when going to visit family.

Time

It was about 4pm.

Lighting

The moving clouds cast a blue hue because of the tone of day.

Equipment

Iphone 7

Inspiration

It was raining and there was a tropical storm coming. The beach was empty of people because of the soggy weather so photo ops were amazing. The textures, angles and movement of sky and water made it beautiful. I used my phone instead of my D7200 because of the rain.

Editing

I used PS on my phone to do some contrast adjustments and subtle enhancements to cloud color.

In my camera bag

D7200 , 70-200 2.8, 50mm 1.8 and sigma art 17-70. A ttl flash.

Feedback

Use a better camera but keep it dry. Don’t take the predictable shot, try something different.
