The Regaleira Palace is the main building and the most common name of Quinta da Regaleira. It is also called Monteiro dos Millões Palace, denomination associated with the nickname of its former owner, António Augusto Carvalho Monteiro.
The palace is situated on the hillside of the mountain range and a short distance from the Historic Center of Sintra, and has been classified as a Property of Public Interest since 2002.
