Location
It was in a old abandoned place. All the walls and ceilings are made from concrete.Time
It was late afternoon - at sundown.Lighting
The warm orange light from the sun came in from the right side through a large opening in the wall. It brought this nice shadows.Equipment
This pic was taken with an Sony alpha 7III and the Sony 85mm 1.4 GM (wide open) - I did not use any modifiers for this picture.Inspiration
We explored the location and took several pics there. This was one of my favorites since the expression of my model was intense and it was supported even more through the nice light and shadows.Editing
I processed this with lightroom and handed it over to Photoshop where i did a little bit liquifing and did my dodge and burn to make the skin look more pleasing and produce a more 3d-ish look.In my camera bag
I usually have with me my Alpha 7RIII and Alpha III with the Zeiss 35mm 1.4 and ths Sony GM 70-200 2.8. It depends on the shooting purpose if i take one of the follwing lenses: GM 16-35mm 2.8 / GM 24mm 1.4 / GM 24-70 2.8 / 55 1.8 or GM 85mm 1.4Feedback
At sundown look for great spots with a harmonic unified background and have a look how the light reflects on you model. Keep making pictures and try things out. This is the best practice and will help to develop your style in photography.
