I love the Aurora Borealis. I've only seen them once. Fantastic capture.

Location
This photo was taken at lake Kleifarvatn near my home townTime
Aurora borealis can be seen in dark hours and in Iceland we have plenty of thatLighting
With very low light and only the beautiful green light things get magical as it starts to dance above you.Equipment
This is taken on my old Canon 5d markiv i also used a Manfrotto tripod to keep it stable as the shutter speed is pretty lowInspiration
The aurora borealis is something i grew up with so i love going out in the dark and photograp it.Editing
With this image its just bit of contrast ,sharpnes and white balance in photoshopIn my camera bag
I just upgraded my gear and i now have the Sony a7r iv with that i use Sony 16-35mm ,Sony 200-600mm and the 24-70mm lenses and a RRS tripodFeedback
Find a dark spot with low light polution ,follow the aurora forecast ( many apps for that) tripod is a must to keep the camera steady and go for lenses at 2.8/f or lower ,good luck hunting
