Location
I live in Rural Tasmania and love my local landscape. This was taken in a stockyard full of sheep with a zoom lens.Time
Early 9 am. The morning sun has risen above the eastern hills and starts to cast a golden glow onto the western hills and clouds where this solitary tree stands.Lighting
With this type of morning light, you get plenty of contrast on the moving clouds. I did have to wait for a burst of light to hit the tree just right.Equipment
This was shot with a Nikon D7100 55-300mm lens f8 1/250 iso 100 and a tripodInspiration
Ominous rolling clouds and a solitary tree on a hill that was all the inspiration I needed.Editing
I did a bit of dodge and burn to make it more dramatic. In my camera bag
Camera, zoom, standard and wide-angle lens. Blower, plastic bag in case it rains, and my tripod.Feedback
I like when some else drives because I am always looking around for my next shot. Take plenty of images and have fun.
