Beautiful work. What is he waiting for? The question makes the picture, but the technique is outstanding.

Thank you for taking part in my challenge Tenebrism Technique in Photography. In my opinion your outstanding image is a perfect example of this technique.

Location
This was taken in a warehouse near my house where they use to keep old tires. It is completely abandoned now but was owned by a friend that let me us it.Time
This was afternoon and the sky and sun were high.Lighting
This was a great chance to use nothing but natural lighting. The lights were streaming in from the window and the abandon seat was moved towards it.Equipment
This was done on my Nikon 7500, Tripod, and the lens was 18-35mm Sigma. There was no flash used as I wanted some great contrast and shadows to lend to the mystery.Inspiration
This was a last minute shot. This was a friend that helped model before. At the last minute I saw the abandoned car seat and moved it to the window. The idea came into my mind of an old train station and an old man waiting. I'm not sure if this was something that I saw before but it was clear in my head at the moment. I thought the lack of cues to the viewer of what he is waiting for would add to the photo.Editing
This was one shot done in raw. There was no HDR or anything fancy. The only thing done was to decrease the highlights so the sky and clouds could come out and increased the contrast all done with camera raw. That was all the post neededIn my camera bag
I have an 8-16, 18-35, and 50-100 all Sigma lenses. I feel this covers me for most shots. I even use the 8-16 for portraits as nothing is off limits. I keep an ice light handy for portraits. Tripod is a must as I don't want to have to high of an iso.Feedback
