Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the streets of Havana, Cuba, during a photo tour, I'm a photography enthusiast and I enjoy a lot going out taking photos.

Time

It was like at 5 pm, I was just looking around and suddenly I felt such an attraction from this view,.

Lighting

Just the magic of natural light.

Equipment

This was shot on a Sony NEX6, using an SEL18-55, no flash or tripod.

Inspiration

Honestly, I was looking for something different, but this caught all of my attention.

Editing

It didn't require much post processing, just regular B/W conversion and some tweaks with lights and blacks.

In my camera bag

Well, I don't have much, a Sony NEX6 (favorite) and a Canon G7x (it was a gift), I also carry my new 18-200 and my old vintage nikkor 50mm f2.8 macro (with adapter to NEX), nothing else.

Feedback

Well, just one thing, the weather and lighting conditions in Cuba are very...versatile, in one minute there can be almost dark and then just an amazing sun shining over your head, the mix of lights and shadows is BEAUTIFUL, but is very difficult get good photos, so come prepared.
