This is an excellent photo. The lighting is well balanced and the details are all in focus.

Location
This photo was taken in an old factory in the south of Strasbourg. A friend opened the doors of the abandoned factory just for me all afternoon I was alone 3 hours to takes my picturesTime
I took a hundred photo. This was the last photo taken on site at the end of the afternoon. It was one of the most difficult photos to achieve. The major difficulty was to enhance this immense space.Lighting
The light was a beautiful late afternoon light.I take all of my picture with my tripod.Equipment
I take this picture with my first digital camera ,my Nikon D3200 and my 18/105 Dx,and my tripod.Inspiration
Taking pictures in this abandoned factory touched me deeply. I worked for 17 years in a factory in Germany and I know the difficulties of this work, I easily imagined the noise and the smells of production. changing rooms affected me more. But this photo is not the darkest I have taken and the post processing gives a little hope to this factory which is filled with emotion and sadness.Editing
This image really started to exist after a post on "lightroom". I don't really remember the processing anymore. I often work in post production making different tests according to my inspiration of the moment.I love the rsult of the post processing,it's like a movie picture. In my camera bag
At the time of this photo I was not very fortunate I just had a Nikon D 3200 and my 18/105 DX. Now I have a D810 equipped with a 24/120 FX and a cobra SB700 flashFeedback
To make my photos, I often work instinctively, I work in manual or semi-auto. I like very complex light with shadows and in general I like contrasted photos
