Skyline view of Manhattan from a hilly street in Secaucus, NJ. I was visiting our son, got out of the car and saw this striking Manhattan skyline. Zoomed in (Sony Cybershot DSC-HX90) and saw tiny dynamic moving ENERGY from bustling buses, trains, cars, colorful houses, buildings. The magic of photography allows us to discern details invisible to the eye. I only noticed upon viewing my shot-- very subtle but striking are the multiple power lines "neatly" strung across the street (I was standing in the middle of the street). The multi-layered power lines convey both the ELECTRICAL as well as HUMAN energy-- the "stuff" that energizes, transforms and empowers the multi-layered VIBRANCE of New York City.
