My sis and I were at Lake Tahoe for the day and the sky was overcast almost the entire time. We had gone to a local pub and just as we were finishing, thinking we were done with the day and heading home, the sky opened up. We packed up and rushed out to go up the beach to Cave Rock, but knew we wouldn't make it. So I pulled off at Zephyr Cove. It was so cold and windy we couldn't tell if we got any good shots. I was somehow able to pull off this shot and a couple others, handheld, longer exposure, with shaky and cold hands.
